Hey, buds! Today, we're talking about why switching over to smokeless methods of consumption in the age of COVID-19 is worth considering.
In case you didn't know, the virus causes infections in the nose, throat and lungs. According to
Leafly, early research shows that smoking can make one more vulnerable to a severe coronavirus infection. In a nutshell, the virus that causes COVID-19 attaches to receptors in the lungs; it's been reported that smoking cigarettes appears to increase the number of those receptors, making it easier for the virus to attach and infect a person.
Studies haven't yet concluded if there's a difference between smoking tobacco and weed, but since both require inhaling smoke, it's probably best to be extra safe and opt for other methods of consumption like oils, edibles, capsules, drinks and the like.
If you're willing to make the switch, we have a
delicious and easy recipe anyone can make at home, courtesy of

Dosage note:
This recipe uses 1/3 cup of cannabis-infused coconut oil. Corinne's oil is usually about 30mg per tsp, which makes this recipe approximately eight 60mg servings. Always test your oil in advance to figure out what dosage works for you! For measurement’s sake, it's recommended to test in 1 tsp intervals. Start low and go slow! It can sometimes take several hours for the full effect to set in.
